Greek Pension and Social Security

According to the Greek Insurance Laws, Greeks that have worked for a certain number of years in Greece before immigrating to another country, may be entitled to pension and/or benefits, depending on the number of years they worked and the stamps (“ensima”) they have collected.

About the Service

Greek Pension and Social Security

Qualified jobs may involve agriculture (work in the fields), the private or public sector, the shipping industry, even self-employment such as having owned and operated a store.

If you have reason to believe you may be entitled to Greek Pension or Social Security, our office can assist you.

We can contact the competent Greek Social Security Administration and determine whether you qualify for a Greek pension or not. If you do, our attorneys can draft and file all the required applications and documents for the issuance of a Greek Pension.

In addition, we can petition for and procure any certificates that a foreign Social Security Administration may require from you, in order to calculate any Greek Pension benefits towards your foreign Pension.
